At Calvary City Christian Academy and Preschool, Biblical Discipleship and Worship are cornerstones of our practice as a private Christian school. All students participate in weekly chapels, which serve as a vital part of our spiritual formation and community life.
Weekly Worship Experience
Each week, students gather for chapel services that include moments of corporate worship, prayer, and a sermon. These services are designed to foster spiritual growth, encourage community, and deepen students' relationship with God. The worship experience is tailored to engage students at their specific developmental stages, ensuring that the messages and activities are age-appropriate and impactful.
Grade-Level Groupings
Chapels are organized by specific grade levels, allowing for focused and meaningful worship experiences that cater to the unique needs and interests of each age group. This structure helps students connect with the message in a more personal and relevant way, promoting spiritual development and a sense of belonging within their peer group.
Through our chapel program, students are encouraged to grow in their faith, develop a strong Christian character, and build a supportive community of believers.
Spiritual Retreats
Middle School and High School students have the opportunity to participate in spiritual retreats designed to provide a deeper, more immersive experience of faith and community. These retreats offer students a chance to step away from their daily routines and engage in focused worship, reflection, and fellowship. Retreats include activities such as team-building exercises, devotional sessions, and worship services, all aimed at enhancing students' spiritual growth and strengthening their relationships with God and each other. These experiences are pivotal in helping students develop a strong, personal faith and build lasting friendships within a supportive Christian environment.
